- God’s Word Warns Of Those Given To “Change” Whose Calamity Shall Rise Suddenly
Interesting – the “change” thing, I mean. They are all for it or some version of it. It reminds me of that scene in “Spartacus” when the recaptured slaves are asked to point out which one of them is “Spartacus” in exchange for leniency. Instead, they each proclaim themselves to be “Spartacus” and thus share his fate. Remember? “I’m Spartacus! I’m Spartacus! I’m Spartacus!” Etc. Now, it’s “I’m for change!” “I’m for change!” “I’m for change!” OK. We get it! - Presidential Candidates On Adultery Issue: Hear It Now
RUDY GIULIANI, shown here with Pat Robertson, says, re: his adultery, that he’s ‘not perfect.’ But do you have to be ‘perfect’ to not cheat on your wife? - MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! And, of course, lest I be accused of a hate-crime, I also wish you a Happy Hannukah, a Krazy Kwanzaa, a Rockin’ Ramadan, a Fabulous Winter Solstice…

If this makes me a bigot, so be it…..Perhaps we need a Tired Of Typing Bigot Day….Just a thought….John Lofton, Editor, TheAmericanView.com - ME AS A REPUBLICAN prior to recovery
ME AS A REPUBLICAN prior to recovery (and prior to being a Christian which happened in 1980, by God’s grace alone), blissfully unaware that I was afflicted with this horrible choice – NOT a disease! As noted before, from 1970-73, I worked at the Republican National Committee where I was the GOP’s chief Party propagandist as Editor of the weekly publication ‘Monday,’ so-called because we spewed our lies every Monday… - Romney Theobabble Clarifies/Explains Nothing; Reveals Ignorance Of Our Founding, Constitution
In a recent major address, Mitt Romney came as an angel of light to, ostensibly, clear things up and explain his Mormon religion. He did no such thing. Instead, Romney lied, revealed his historical ignorance re: our founding, he obfuscated, refused to be specific, engaged in vain theobabble, blew an uncertain trumpet, and uttered platitudes and generalities. Here’s some of what he said and my comments. - The Lord Jesus Christ First, True Libertarian; His Coming Most Important “Political” Event In History
The religious significance of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is well known. But, what is not so well known is the sense in which Christ’s birth is “the most important single political event in history,” as Dr. R.J. Rushdoony has observed and documented in many of his books. For example, in his book “The Foundations Of Social Order: Studies In The Creeds And Councils Of The Early Church” (1968), Dr. Rushdoony, referring to the Council of Chalcedon (451 A.D.), calls this an event that “handed Statism its major defeat in man’s history” because it established God as “the true sovereign and the true source of law.” He notes: “Western liberty began when the claim of the State to be man’s savior was denied. The State then, according to Scripture, was made the ministry of justice. But, wherever Christ ceases to be man’s Savior, there liberty perishes as the State again asserts its messianic claims. Man is in trouble, and history is the record of his attempt to find salvation. Man needs a savior, and the question is simply one of choice: Christ or the State? No man can choose one without denying the other, and all attempts at compromise are a delusion. - Sorry, But Humanist/Evolutionists May Not Invoke Right/Wrong/Good/Evil Since There Can Be No Such Thing In An Accidental, Chance-Governed World
Long story short: A bunch of Christian/conservative-types get together to make a movie. It’s about, among other things, the intolerance of God-hating scientists and other God-haters towards those who disagree with them. For this movie some of these God-haters are interviewed. This outrages one Roy Speckhardt, Executive Director, American Humanist Association. He writes a letter-to-the-editor of the “New York Times” (10/4/07) accusing the Christian/conservative-types of dealing deceptively with the God-haters. He says that what the Christian/conservative-types did was “dishonesty by the devout.” - Giving Pandering A Bad Name – A Joke, I Think…
ON ABC’s LATE-NIGHT “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” program, Kimmel mentioned a recent candidate’s forum for the Republicans to discuss issues of concern to black Americans. He said not many GOP candidates showed up but the ones who did he thought were a little over-the-top. And then he showed these pix of Brownback, Paul and Huckabee. I think this was a joke. - A Meeting With Dr. Dobson: Please Pray That He Becomes More Explicitly Biblical When He Speaks Out On Issues
First stop, a visit with Dr. James Dobson (about 15 minutes in his recording studio.) I gotta admit that when I called his office, told his assistant I’d be in the Denver area, and asked if he would see me, I never thought he’d say yes. But, he did. Oh, me of little faith. - End Times?! Armageddon?! Meaningless Coincidence? Just Three Numbers?! Accidental Upsidedown 9s?!
So, I log on after being on a trip for four days. And I see I have emails numbering 666!! I think: Yikes! What meaneth this? — End Times?! Armageddon?! Meaningless Coincidence? Just Three Numbers?! Accidental Upsidedown 9s?! Help me, please. What saith you? - “World Net Daily” Boss Regrets Voting For Bush; Blasts Richard Land’s Immoral Political Advice Here’s my thesis in a nutshell: Never vote for any candidate who doesn’t respect and revere and genuinely submit himself or herself to the authority of the U.S. Constitution and its strict limits on federal government power. I admit I have yielded to the temptation to deviate from my own policy on one occasion – the 2004 presidential election. By then we knew George W. Bush had little understanding and respect for the Constitution, but, in a defensive strategy, to avoid the election of an outright traitor to his country in John Kerry, I wisely or unwisely decided to vote for Bush’s re-election. I’m still happy Kerry didn’t win. But I take no little solace in whatever small part I played in Bush’s undeserved re-election.
- Radio host says Christians voting for non-Christians unbiblical A radio talk-show host who describes himself as a “recovering Republican” argues that Christians have a “cut-and-dried” directive from the Bible not to vote for a non-believer.
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney won the endorsement Monday of Senator Judd Gregg (R-New Hampshire). New Hampshire is a key primary state where Romney is currently leading. Romney has also garnered the endorsements of several high-profile evangelical Christians, including Dr. Bob Jones III, Mark DeMoss and Jay Sekulow.
Former Republican National Committee official John Lofton is co-host of The American View, a weekly radio show syndicated by Radio America. He contends Romney and other non-Christian candidates fail to meet scriptural requirements for men who occupy God-ordained civil government offices.
“This is ridiculous on its face to say that Christians can vote for non-Christians. It’s Christ denial, its something that’s very serious,” he argues. “And in fact, in a way things have gotten even worse by saying that religion doesn’t matter. Well, that’s the same as saying, whether they know it or not, that Christ doesn’t matter. He is the King of kings, he is the Lord of lords — which means Lord over politics, and no Christian can be complicit in having an unbeliever, who God calls wicked, rule over us.”
He says by voting for a candidate like Romney, whose faith teaches that Jesus is the spiritual brother of Lucifer, Christians are in effect putting their desire to win an election and defeat Hillary Clinton above their commitment to God’s Word. Lofton also recently criticized National Right to Life founder Dr. Jack Willke for endorsing Romney even though the Mormon church teaches that “some exceptional circumstances may justify an abortion,” including rape, incest, fetal deformities, and threats to “the life or health of the mother.” - Dear Ann Coulter: Please Shut Up
I wish Ann Coulter would shut up. I know, I know – she won’t, as long as she breathes. But, this is my wish – that she shut up immediately. Utterly lacking in discretion and thus standing out as a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout (Proverbs 11:22) – and always wearing the attire of a harlot (Proverbs 7:10) – this disgusting female, who says she is a Christian, is now explaining, among other things, what Christians believe about Jews. She has said: - True Confessions Re: My Sordid Past: I Once Did A Radio Show With Barry Lynn
It angered Lynn greatly when I would say — whenever he said something evil and/or stupid — in other words, whenever he spoke: “Well, that’s an odd thing to say for an ordained minister of the Gospel such as yourself” (at the time, and now, he calls himself the Rev. Barry Lynn.) More than once, on a break, he would demand I stop saying this to which I would reply… - Caption This Photo And Win A Prize!

If you win First Prize, you are allowed, of your own free will (which we do not believe you have), to send us $100-per-month or more to support this Web site and our radio show; 2nd place,$50; 3rd place, $25. - Exodus Mandate Celebrates 10 Years in Homeschooling Movement
One of the leading advocates for Christian-based home schooling education celebrated its tenth anniversary Tuesday, marking a decade of influence in the home schooling movement in America - After the recent GOP debate, Rudy Giuliani still has the same wife he had before this debate.

- At Last!, The Origin Of The O’Reilly Logo!
I’ve been haunted for sometime by Bill O’Reilly’s logo. Hmmmmmmm, what does it remind me of? Then it hit me and it can now hit you — - In “TAV” Interview Year Ago, Richard Viguerie Mocked Idea Of Third Party, Leaving GOP; Now? Well…
WILL RICHARD actually jump from the burning Republican Party building and stop hitting himself in the head with the GOP hammer? Stay tuned, but don’t hold your breath until he does this — unless you look good in purple. - Dobson Right, Bauer Wrong On Fred Thompson Who Flunked Never-Vote-For-Murderer Test
Call it The Murderer Litmus Test. It would go something like this: I will always vote against any nominee for any public office who has murdered innocent human beings and sees nothing wrong with such murder. Sound reasonable to you? Well, Fred Thompson didn’t think so on at least one occasion and said so explicitly. But, I’m getting ahead of myself on this important and widely-ignored story. - A PROUD PRESIDENT BUSH
A PROUD PRESIDENT BUSH poses with the first graduates under his No Child Left Unpainted With White Stuff And Wearing Headbands program. He told them: “There now, you should really be able to get a good job. I hope you support the surge. And may God continue to bless America.” - Polly (“Alex,” Really) Want A Federal Grant? Yes, And He Got It Explaining A Lot About Why Constitution A Dead Letter, Feds Trillions Of $$$ In Debt
As we approach “Constitution Day” (September 17), it is appropriate — indeed mandatory — to think about the question: How did the Federal Government get to be trillions of dollars in debt? A hint: the answer to this important question has something to do with the blatant violation of the Constitution for many generations. A case-in-point: The recently deceased “Alex” the grey parrot upon whom millions of your hard-earned tax dollars were spent to study him the result being that it has now, supposedly, been proved that a grey parrot can do many things done by chimpanzees, dolphins and young children. - Support Those Who Support Things?
WELL NOW, here’s a new one; saw it recently on the back of a pickup truck. But, who or what, exactly, is ‘America’ today? And what’s next, as we sink further into the quicksand of abstractionism, a ribbon saying ‘Support Those Who Support Things’? Or the ultimate, minimalist “Support.” - Reagan, In His Diary, Criticizes Me For Telling The Truth
Just looked recently at a copy of “The Reagan Diaries” (HarperCollins, 2007) where I get a couple of shots for, basically, telling the truth (pgs 82, 94-95). And these mentions demonstrate what was a serious problem with the former President: Quite often he literally hadn’t the foggiest idea what he was talking about. My first mention (2/26/1982) reads as follows: - Radio Host Jan Mickelson Last Word On Politics In Iowa
The following profile of our good friend Jan Mickelson appeared recently in the”Los Angeles Times.” And as folks of our ilk say, this story, considering the views of this paper, could’ve been a lot worse.

- Unhappy Birthday Re: “Katrina”; Professor Denounces Me As Constitutional “Extremist” For Opposing Federal “Disaster Aid”
The following is an interview I did with Elizabeth Hayes Turner, co-author of “Galveston and the 1900 Storm” - a book about September 8, 1900, a day when a Category 4 storm hit Galveston, then a city of about 38,000, and one the most prosperous in Texas. After the storm, between six and ten thousand people were dead, and more than three quarters of the city was completely destroyed. Turner was, when we had our discussion, a professor of history at the University of North Texas. - No, No, NO! This Is NOT The Proper Use Of Duct Tape
Michael and I have, on occasion, on our radio show, resorted to the use of duct tape to prevent certain parts of our respective heads from leaving said respective heads due to having to comment on exceptionally outrageous, head-exploding items in the news. This, we believe, is a responsible and honorable use of duct tape. In fact, we believe duct tape should ALWAYS be used responsibly and honorably. Thus, because we believe duct tape should ALWAYS be used responsibly and honorably, we feel obligated to denounce the use of duct tape to, for example, attempt to conceal one’s identity while robbing a liquor store – which Kasey Kazee (shown here) has been accused of doing and has been arrested for, in Ashland, Kentucky. Mr. Kazee got away with no loot because he was tackled by a store employee in a parking lot, allegedly, according to press reports. - J.L. - The Long History Of Lies for War
John Quigley’s book has a valuable main thesis and, I suggest, an even more valuable claim that underlies this thesis. The purpose of his book, Quigley tells us, is to explore “U.S. military actions abroad over the past half-century. We look in each instance at what the president and his aides said, and what reasons they gave. Then we examine the situation in light of what is known today to determine whether the administration was truthful” (pp. 14-15). - The Minnesota Bridge Disaster And The Falling Tower In Siloam: Message Is Repent Or Likewise Perish!, Says Our Lord
Bridge collapses and coal mine cave-ins remind us all of what we already know – that any one of us could die, any time, any day, in the blink of an eye. Commenting on and explaining the above verses that deal with the fall of this tower in Siloam — an instance of people being taken away by sudden death — the great Puritan Bible scholar Matthew Henry says: - “Pluralism” Is The Alibi Of The Indifferent, The Cowardly, The Empty-Headed
Not until the democratic revival of the French Revolution did the idea occur to anyone of putting an end to the pluralism of the ancien régime. Then to “cut down the height by a head” became all the fashion. During the last weeks of the reign of terror a law was passed declaring that church spires were to be demolished because they offended against the principle of equality. When Robespierre fell, the town council of Strasbourg were just setting about demolishing the spire of the cathedral. The pick-axe was added to the guillotine. In Alsace anti-pluralism raged particularly loudly: the women were forbidden to dress in French fashion, and the Jacobins reported angrily that the inhabitants did not use the “republican language,” i.e. French. - Communist Church/State View Sounds Sooooo Familiar
n the summer of 1917, two Soviet Communist theorists, N. Bukharin and E. Preobrazhensky, wrote “The ABC Of Communism.” What they said about Communism and its incompatibility with “religion” sounds a lot like some of the God-hating claptrap we hear in our country today from anti-Christians such as Barry Lynn. Here’s some of what these two communists wrote explaining how “social development is not brought about by any kind of supernatural forces” and predicting that the “childish notion” of religion would disappear: - Nursing Fathers “It is beyond dispute that, at a minimum, the Constitution guarantees that government may not coerce anyone to support or participate in religion or its exercise, or otherwise act in a way which ‘establishes a religion or religious faith, or tends to do so.’” — U.S. Supreme Court
- Supposedly Tough-On-Crime Rudy Giuliani Repeatedly Praised Veterans Of Sex Perverts/Sodomite Riot Against NYC Cops
Well, amen! We do, indeed, have to have friends. We are social creatures; no man is an island. And our friends reveal a lot about who we are. Speaking of which, you should know that when Rudy Giuliani was Mayor of New York City, he repeatedly honored and posed for photographs with members of an organization called “STONEWALL Veterans Association” (SVA). For example, in a “Dear Friends” letter to this group dated June 25, 2002, Giuliani extended his “warmest regards” to them on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion which he called “a triumph at a time when the struggle for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Rights was beginning.” Hailing the SVA for having “preserved the spirit of the original rebellion” (an allusion to our War For Independence), Giuliani praised this group for its educational program which, he said, helps others to learn about “the cause, the history and to fight prejudice.” - Election Sermons Urged Election Of Christians Only, Men Who “Subjected Themselves To The Rule Of Christ’s Kingdom”
As we approach a national election next year, we would do well to ponder and meditate upon what Christian pastors used to preach regarding who is qualified to hold elected offices. - How About, First, A “Stable” Washington DC, Mr. President?; Then You May Think About Saving The Rest Of The World
What to say when there’s nothing to say, when you’re faking it, like President Bush is when he talks about what he’s trying to achieve in his unGodly, unConstitutional, unnecessary war in Iraq? Well, use a buzz-word. Use a buzz-word that at first sounds great, a buzz-word that makes your head nod in approval – a buzz-word such as “stable.” The problem, of course, is, after hearing such a buzz-word, which is never defined, upon reflection, say two seconds later after you’ve heard the buzz-word, if you have a brain, you realize that you have no idea what exactly, or even approximately, the meaning is of the buzz-word “stable.” - Tolerance Should Be Shown To What God Says About Homosexuality Managing editor Len LaCara decried the intolerance of our community in a recent Sunday editorial. I also would like to see more tolerance, but tolerance of something besides what he proposes we tolerate. Liberals propose we tolerate homosexuality and pornographic literature in our public libraries. I propose we tolerate the standards of morality found in the pages of the Bible.
- As Usual, Anti-God’s Law Person Declines To Debate, Present Her Plan For Running The World Rena Levin is National Grassroots Organizer for the wretched Barry Lynn’s “Americans United for Separation of Church & State.” I saw her quoted somewhere (can’t remember where) criticizing and mischaracterizing what “theocracy” means. I sent her an email asking: “Why are you opposed to ‘theocracy’ which is simply Godly rule?” I said my question was not rhetorical; I would appreciate a reply. I sent her a copy of Dr. RJ Rushdoony’s article about theocracy which is on our Web site. Here is her response with my comments:
- Not Today!

- Will Al Gore Run?
WILL AL GORE run for President in 2008? I would say ‘yes’ because of this photo sent to me from an anonymous source close to what will be the Gore campaign. It shows him being re-booted, re-programmed, so when he announces his Presidential candidacy, he can talk about something other than ‘global warming.’ – J.L. - The Theory May Be True, But I Don’t Feel Like I’m Evolving.

- Hell and the High Schools
This is one of the anti-evolution posters seen around town in Dayton, Tennessee during the famous 1925 Scopes Trial when a biology teacher was prosecuted for teaching evolution in a public school. Kind of sums up things rather well and succinctly, don’t you think? - Pro-Life Leaders Wrong About Supreme Court PBA Decision; Celebrate Murderous Rulings By Republican Appointed Judges This past month, five WND (“World Net Daily”) pieces have run regarding our widely-publicized open letters to Dr. James Dobson in which we document the 30-year failure of the pro-life movement. Long ago, National Right To Life devised a strategy of introducing laws to regulate child-killing, and now in order to defend those immoral tactics, many of our greatest Christian leaders have adopted the secular humanist principle of moral relativism. The bad fruit of all this is a federal judiciary stacked with Republican pro-choice judges who reject the personhood of the child, and who issue murderous rulings celebrated by pro-life leaders.

On August 26, 2002, I appeared on the Fox Cable Network’s “On The Record With Greta Van Sustern” program. The guest host this evening was Linda Vester. Here’s the way it went: - Epitaph For Western (Christian) Civilization, Part Umpteen: Hindu Priests Praying Before Congress*
This story reminded me of an interview I did on October 10, 2000, with Rep. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) who is now a U.S. Senator from Ohio. Brown had sponsored a Hindu priest to open the House of Representatives with prayer. Here’s our conversation in its entirety: - Caption This Photo And Win A Prize!
That’s right. Caption this photo, be one of the top three selected and, as the headline says – “Win A Prize!” But, no, your prize will not be like just any old contest where you win a prize and you get something. No, sireee! You win First Prize in this contest and you get to pay us $25 per month so we can keep these contests going (and our Web site and radio show.) Second Prize, you pay us $50 a month; Third Prize, you pay us $100 a month. And if your caption is the worst one of all those received, you must send us a blank check and we will fill in the amount. Now, get to it! Happy captioning! – but not too funny because we need the money… - “Politics Of Appeasement” Has Gotten Pro-Life Movement Nowhere
A few days ago I joined with several pro-life leaders in signing an ad that focused attention on Dr. James Dobson and other Christian leaders who had celebrated the Supreme Court’s decision in the Gonzales v. Carhart case. We did so because it is of specific concern to each of us that the facts contained in the actual Supreme Court decision and its ultimate impact on our struggle to end abortion are not clearly understood by some-and perhaps intentionally distorted or ignored by others. - Exclusive Interview: Jim Corsi Discusses Political Philosophy, Abortion, Sodomite “Marriage,” Voting Twice for Bush (!) and More… “World Net Daily” (5/7/07) has carried an article mentioning Jim Corsi as a possible Constitution Party Presidential candidate. Will he be? I have no idea. But, I did interview him (5/17/07) on a variety of issues and here’s what he had to say. The occasional background noise you hear is because Jim was at an airport when I spoke with him. — J.L.
- I Hate Green Eggs But I Love Ken Ham!
I love Ken Ham because he’s a Christian with a brain and he has the guts to defend the faith. I also love him because he drives the God-haters nuts - or I should say he drives them even nuttier. - Vote Picto Bold

- Failure Of Conservative Movement Is Failure Of Churches, Clergy Who Lack Biblical/Theological Roots
The failure of the conservative movement in the United States has been a failure of the churches. This has been true in other countries as well. With rare exception, conservatives have lacked Biblical and theological roots. This is not surprising, given the fact that the clergy are themselves abysmally ignorant. - Who Would Jesus Bomb?

But she says, “I’ve made all the beds and washed the dishes and done the laundry and swept the floors;I’ve done all the things you don’t like to do. I’m hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house). According to Maryland Delegate Victor Ramirez, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family’s insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits to me and to my family. Rudy Giuliani said that what Rep. Ron Paul did was “extraordinary” and the Texas Republican should say he didn’t mean it. Jed Babbin, Editor of “Human Events,” says what Paul did was “insane.” Michigan GOP State Chairman Saul Anuzis says that because what Paul did was “off the wall and out of whack” he should be barred from future Republican Party Presidential candidate debates. And, of course, warmonger Sean Hannity was outraged by what Paul did. - A Week At Sea On A Ship Of Fools With Neo-Conmen Kristol And Barnes? Arghhhhhhhhhh! Now THAT’S Torture!
The Web site of “The Weekly Standard” suggests I “Tell A Friend” about this cruise. A “friend?” No way. An enemy, yes. In fact, if there’s someone you really hate, try to get them on board for this trip — though you probably don’t know anybody you hate enough to want to inflict Kristol/Barnes on them on a ship for a week. Such exposure would indeed be cruel and unusual punishment. - Non-Christian Education Is Sin, Spiritual Child Abuse

In the Land Of Allflux, there is no Jello because there’s nothing constant to hold together what makes Jello Jello. And there is no wall — just a House of Mirrors opposite one another reflecting an infinite regression. To paraphrase Yeats, in the Supreme Court’s Land of Allflux - and in all of our courts - long, long ago, things fell apart, the center (God’s Word) was ignored with the result being legal anarchy and chaos. - What Might Have Happened Had The South Won And Lincoln Put On Trial For War Crimes?
This docudrama was conducted by Liberty University’s “Center for the Study of the Civil War” as a part of its 9th Annual Civil War Seminar. This Seminar used MacKinlay Cantor’s 1960 alternate history novel, “If the South Had Won the Civil War,” as its premise. It explored what might have transpired if Grant had never survived the siege of Vicksburg, if Lee had won at Gettysburg, and if Lincoln and the US Capital had fallen into Southern hands. - “Bible Answer Man” Says Mormons Not Christians; Use Our Words But With Different Meanings It’s becoming all the more common today however, John. I mean there are more and more Christians who are saying that the gap between Christianity and Mormonism can easily be bridged with rhetoric. [They say] the divide, well it’s not wide at all in their view. And I don’t think that they’re taking seriously what Mormonism teaches. Now we’d all be very happy if Mormonism recanted their heresy particularly with respect the nature of God and the person and work of Jesus Christ. But they haven’t done that. What their trying to do is bridge the gap with rhetoric and it is a gap that is so wide and deep it can never be papered over with rhetoric.

- Believe It Or Not, Cigarettes (No Filter!) Once Advertised As Being ‘Kind’ To The Throat, ‘No Harsh Irritants,’ Said One Female Movie Star
This full-page ad is from the March 1932 issue of “The Review Of Reviews.” It has movie star Lupe Velez (“The Cuban Love Song”) saying that “Lucky Strike” cigarettes were “kind to my throat” causing “no harsh irritants.” Underneath the words “It’s Toasted,” are the words “Your Throat Protection – against irritation – against cough.” - If Dialog With Deceased Necessary, Why Didn’t Hillary “Talk” With Great Women Of The Bible? Or, Since She’s A Methodist, John Wesley?
Right up front I want to make it clear where I stand re: imaginary conversations with dead people: I’m against it! Bad idea. But, if Hillary just had to talk, imaginatively, to a dead person, a woman, to get a female perspective and if she is a Christian (Methodist) as she says — then why not “talk” with some of the great women of the Bible? - OK, So We Know How President Hillary Will Use “Slick Willie” But What About Jean Houston?
A little over a decade ago, we had a new Eleanor Roosevelt question: What if Eleanor Roosevelt talked to Hillary Clinton? What might they say to each other? Indeed, all of Washington DC and, perhaps, parts of our nation, were abuzz regarding revelations that our First Lady once gathered by the White House swimming pool with one Jean Houston and had some kind of — well, imaginary dialogue with the long-dead Mrs. Roosevelt. The story was that this was a meeting to discuss a book Mrs. Clinton was working on about raising children titled “It Takes A Village.” - The Continuing Legacy of Christian Reconstruction
Otto Scott once casually expressed to me his dislike of the term “presupposition” because it was redundant. A presupposition is, in fact, a supposition. The term is intentionally redundant, of course. It means that our suppositions, our starting points, are themselves based on assumptions. Rationalism says man’s mind, his reason, can determine and know truth. Presuppositionalism says man’s reason is so dependent on his creator that knowledge must begin with God’s revelation of Himself. Presuppositionalism is contrasted with all forms of rationalism, particularly evidentialism. Evidentialism is the approach of trying to prove God exists and that His Word is true. The Arminian emphasis on free will has elevated man’s reason and will and has always relied on evidence or emotional appeals to sway man. - The year was 2081, and everybody was finally equal…
It was tragic, all right, but George and Hazel couldn’t think about it very hard. Hazel had a perfectly average intelligence, which meant she couldn’t think about anything except in short bursts. And George, while his intelligence was way above normal, had a little mental handicap radio in his ear. He was required by law to wear it at all times. It was tuned to a government transmitter. Every twenty seconds or so, the transmitter would send out some sharp noise to keep people like George from taking unfair advantage of their brains. - An Unsolicited Testimonial

- “Dishonest Abe” No Christian - Part II In a previous article, Pastor Steve Wilkins wrote about the evidence that indicates that Abraham Lincoln was not a Christian. In his book “Lincoln” (Simon & Schuster, 1995), David Herbert Donald, a Professor of History Emeritus at Harvard, supports what Pastor Wilkins wrote.
- Forward To The Past! — Return To 1950s Pathetic Goal For Anyone Claiming To Be A Christian
Therefore, the nature of human liberty, however it be considered, whether in individuals or in society, whether in those who command or in those who obey, supposes the necessity of obedience to some supreme and eternal law, which is no other than the authority of God, commanding good and forbidding evil. And, so far from this most just authority of God over men diminishing, or even destroying their liberty, it protects and perfects it, for the real perfection of all creatures is found in the prosecution and attainment of their respective ends; but the supreme end to which human liberty must aspire is God. - Golden Oldies From Horrifying Hillary
The basic rationale for depriving people of rights in a dependency relationship is that certain individuals are incapable or undeserving of the right to take care of themselves and consequently need social institutions specifically designed to safeguard their position. Along with the family, past and present, examples of such arrangements include marriage, slavery, and the Indian reservation system - Apples and Oranges: A Comparison
We have all been present at discussions (or arguments) in which one of the combatants attempts to clarify or strengthen a point by comparing the subject at hand with another item or situation more familiar to the audience or opponent. More often than not, this stratagem instantly results in the protest that “you”re comparing apples and oranges!” This is generally perceived as a telling blow to the analogy, since it is generally understood that apples and oranges cannot be compared. - NEWS PHOTO OF THE WEEK

- Yes, Mr. Minnery, Lincoln, Like Satan, “Knew” Scripture But “Dishonest Abe” Was No Christian
The death of Abraham Lincoln proves, in his case, that the quickest way to heaven and semi-divinity is an assassin’s bullet. After Lincoln’s death, he was immediately placed in the pantheon of Yankee gods along with John Brown and other “illustrious” revolutionaries. Northern politicians and preachers sought to outdo one another in their praise for the former Congressman from Illinois. He was a faithful “servant and follower of Jesus” yea, even “the first of all that have walked the earth after the Nazarene”! He could be equated with Christ since, after all, both gave their lives sacrificially on Good Friday (the day Lincoln was assassinated). - Adding Insult To Injury, Hillary Ends Talk To Sex Perverts By Saying “God Bless You” !
The following are excerpts from a 3/2/07 address by Sen. Hillary Clinton to the “Human Rights Campaign,” a group of militant, radical sex perverts working, they say, “to achieve gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender equality.” Nothing about this talk was on either of Clinton’s web pages and the national news media reported no details of this speech. - An 8-Part Series: Anti-Gun Nuts Continue To Push UnGodly, UnConstitutional, Failed, Anti-Self Defense Laws In Washington DC
The fight over Washington DC’s unConstitutional anti-gun, anti-self defense laws has gone on for years. The following are a series of articles I wrote over the years on this topic. I hope these pieces help you argue this issue. Meanwhile, “The American View” radio show number 97 tells you about a favorable recent Federal court ruling which (gasp!) actually acknowledged our Constitution ruling that the Second Amendment protects the right to own a gun in your home. — J.L. - The American View’s John Lofton Admitted to Hospital Early This Week John Lofton was admitted into the hospital early this week and an emergency surgery was performed. He is doing well, but we don’t know when he’ll return to The American View. Prayers for his quick recovery would be appreciated.
- In Fundraising Letter Jim Clymer Throws Big Boulders From His Glass House
Well, amen, Brother Jim! Preach it! And it was your role in Tampa, and the role of Howard Phillips, and others, in Tampa, to lead those assembled there and defend the CP’s no-exceptions-on-abortion Platform. But, alas, neither of you did this which was a betrayal of the CP base, so to speak. - Golden Oldie: Howard Phillips Blasted Abortion Exceptions In Speech Accepting 1996 Presidential Nomination Nomination Of U.S. Taxpayers Party, Used “Religious” Language, Too
When Howard Phillips accepted the Presidential nomination of the U.S. Taxpayers Party in 1996, he eloquently blasted those who were not 100 percent pro-life, those who favored abortion exceptions, those who thought it was OK to murder unborn children conceived because of rape/incest. As I listened to these sound bites, I thought about the CP conflict in Tampa where Howard spoke in defense of Nevada party leaders who favor abortion exceptions not only for rape/incest but also for “fetal deformities,” life/health of the mother. Click here to hear what Howard said in 1996 and let us know what you think re: his remarks. - In Washington’s Army Sodomy “Infamous Crime” Deserving “Abhorrence/and Detestation;” Shalikashvili Says No Problem, Open Sex Perverts Should Be Recruited Into Our Military
“I now believe that if gay men and lesbians served openly in the United States military, they would not undermine the efficacy of the armed forces. Our military has been stretched thin by our deployments in the Middle East, and we must welcome the service of any American who is willing and able to do the job.” - U.S. Backed Saddam Hussein In 1980s Despite Use Of Chemical Weapons, External Aggression, Human Rights Abuses, Desire For Nukes
Conspicuously missing from the biographical obituaries of Saddam Hussein were any detailed accounts of how the United States embraced him in the early 1980s — including the renewal of diplomatic relations that had been suspended in 1967. And the U.S. embraced Iraq/Hussein and supported him despite the fact that it was known that he: had invaded his neighbor (Iran); had long-range nuclear aspirations that would “probably” include “an eventual nuclear weapon capability;” had harbored known terrorists in Baghdad; had abused the human rights of his citizens; had possessed and used chemical weapons on Iranians and his own people. Despite all this, the U.S. response was to renew ties to Iraq, provide intelligence and aid to Iraq and to ensure Iraq it would not be defeated by Iran, and to send a high-level Presidential envoy named Donald Rumsfeld to shake hands with Saddam (20 December 1983).
