It's always a great pleasure to talk politics (or anything) with an Irishman. Ed Flynn is a masterful radio host and a great American. We discussed our campaign themes - Honor God, Defend the Family, and Restore the American Republic for about 40 delightful minutes on his "Talk of the Town" program of WATR 1320 AM.

I was happy to say hello to all the Kenney family in Waterbury and the surrounding area. Monsignor Jeremiah Kenney, formerly of Waterbury and currently in Baltimore is one of my longest, closest friends and most of the Kenney clan, including Bob and Helen, Fran and Bonnie, and young Patrick live around Waterbury. These are wonderful people.

It was good to know that Mr. Joe Zdonczyk, our Connecticut Constitution Party Chairman, was well known to my radio host and to the program. I gave out Joe's number and website over the air so that anyone wanting to help with ballot access or campaign activities could contact him and get busy.

Mr. Flynn asked many pointed and important questions about the federal role in Education (none), illegal immigration and its relation to homeland security, and nation-building as a national pastime. We also discussed the futility of a federal marriage amendment.

The Irish side of me - My grandmother was a Moylan from County Cork - really enjoyed spending this glorious time with Mr. Ed Flynn and WATR, Waterbury.
