- Another Intelligence Failure: President Again Recognizes Phony Holiday “Kwanzaa” But Ignores “Parinirvana” And (Poor “Barney”!) Zoroastrian Dog-Honoring Event
“I send greetings to those observing Kwanzaa…Kwanzaa honors the history and heritage of Africa….Laura joins me in sending our best wishes for a joyous Kwanzaa” —- President George W. Bush, December 19, 2003.
Well, there they go again. The President and Mrs. Bush have, again, this year, sent their greetings to those observing “Kwanzaa.” They say: “During the seven days of Kwanzaa leading up to the New Year, friends and family come together in a spirit of love and joy to honor their rich African heritage, reflect on the Seven Principles, and give thanks for the blessings of freedom and opportunity. Forty years after the first Kwanzaa, this hopeful occasion remains an opportunity to build the bonds of family, community, and culture and move ever closer to the founding promise of liberty and justice for all. - Celebrity Deathmatch: John Lofton vs. Bozo the Clown
WOW, IT’S HARD to believe but it’s been 10 years since I met “Bozo The Clown” at the Target store in Laurel, Maryland. A lot of the kids didn’t like it when I butted in line to get this photo. This, of course, is not the first “Bozo” I met. He’s just the real one. - Courageous AWOL, Jailed Christian Soldier Says Iraq War Serves Neither God, Country
FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Sgt. Ricky Clousing went to war in Iraq because, he said, he believed he would simultaneously be serving his nation and serving God. But after more than four months on the streets of Baghdad and Mosul interrogating Iraqis rounded up by American troops, Sergeant Clousing said, he began to believe that he was serving neither. - McCain Answers On Abortion, Homosexuality Anything But “Straight Talk”
“On February 28, 1994, after extensive hearings in Congress…Congress expressly found that service by those who have a propensity to engage in homosexual conduct creates an unacceptable risk to morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion, and that the long-standing prohibition of homosexual conduct therefore continues to be necessary in the unique circumstances of military service.” But, of course, it was President Clinton, himself a sex pervert and predator, who gave us, not surprisingly, the don’t ask don’t tell, pro-sodomite policy when the policy should be… - What Troops Would Jesus Support?
Saw this on the back of a car in a parking lot recently. What’s your answer to the headline question here? And if you reply, please stick to the question as literally and succinctly as possible, with Scripture, specific Christian sources, you think support your answer - Dear Mr. Olasky: Please Shut Up, Sir
The “decidedly different” candidate for President in 2004 was Michael Anthony Peroutka of the Constitution Party about whom, sir, you said nothing, zip, zero, zilch, nada. Instead, like a rat caught in a maze — a very stupid rat — you talked about Presidential politics only within the phony two-party choice which, of course, is no real choice at all, certainly not for a person who is trying to vote, first, as a Christian. - Ooooooooooops!
White House political strategist Karl Rove yesterday confidently predicted that the Republican Party would hold the House and the Senate in next month’s elections…At a luncheon with editors and reporters at The Washington Times, Mr. Rove… said…’I’m confident we’re going to keep the Senate; I’m confident we’re going to keep the House.’ - President Bush’s “San Francisco Values”: A Futuristic Nightmare That Has, Alas, Already Happened
Late at night, after changing channels and traveling through the wilderness of cable TV, where I heard and saw numerous references to “SAN FRANCISCO VALUES!!!,” I lay down to sleep. And as I slept — fitfully, tossing and turning — I had a hideous nightmare about who had become the next occupant of the White House — Nancy Pelosi! - Zastrow, Daughter, Other Pro-Lifers Expose Wal-Mart Support For Abortion, Homosexuals
Cal Zastrow, right, and his 13-year-old daughter Corrie, left, protest on the curb in front of Wal-Mart Friday afternoon. Zastrow is protesting Wal-Mart for their decision to sponsor National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, their funding for Planned Parenthood and their decision to sell Plan B, a birth control medication. Zastrow held signs that depicted two aborted fetuses. Many people passing by thought the signs were disgusting and had vulgar words for Zastrow. “Oh thank you, I am number one,” Zastrow said in response to negative comments or gestures. - Michigan Citizens For Life Offers These Bumper Stickers

- An Exchange: My Correspondence With Milton Friedman About God, Economics, Evolution And “Values”
One of the saddest things to see is a truly brilliant individual, with a keen intellect, but who does not believe in God, in Jesus Christ, in the Bible. A case in point: Dr. Milton Friedman, the Nobel Prize-winning, libertarian, free market economist. In a letter-to-the-editor to the “Wall Street Journal” (10/30/92), Dr. Friedman made the point that he is a “radical,” get-to-the-root-of-the-problem kind of guy. So, although I knew, generally, what his answer would be, but not exactly, I wrote Dr. Friedman, at the Hoover Institute at Stanford University, and asked him… - Why “Christians” Are Losers – Part Umpteen Q: Does your Voter’s Guide rate the various incumbents as to how Christian they are? A: No. Q: Why not? Q: Then why would you call yourself the “Christian Coalition?” What does the word “Christian” in your name mean?
- Christians And Politics: No Wiser Than 15 Years Ago My assignment is to write a brief answer to the question: “Should Christians work through a third political party?” Okay. So, my answer is: “I don’t know. This is not something I’m dogmatic about.” Indeed, Christendom in America is in such a deplorable, sinful mess that I don’t believe most Christians today—or perhaps, more accurately, I should call them “Christians’ ‘—are sufficiently fit to work effectively in any area.
- Bill O’Reilly: Phony “Culture Warrior” — Part II
As Providence would have it, Bill O’Reilly did back-to-back interviews recently with Lynn and Smeal on his Fox TV show. In these discussions, O’Reilly had a golden opportunity to prove that he is, indeed, a “culture warrior” who is the enemy of those he calls “secular progressives.” So, how did O’Reilly do? - A Debate: “Atheist”* Embraces Inalienable Rights But, Of Course, Clueless Re: Origin Of Such Rights
The business card of Ed Buckner — who debates as an “atheist” — says he is “Southern Director” of the “Council For Secular Humanism.” Just exactly how many “Secular Humanists” there are in the South to direct, I do not know — probably not many, at least not many who are out-of-the-closet and in-your-face like Buckner. - Me, Gary Bauer, Iraq, The Bible, His GOP Cheerleading And My Brief, VERY Brief Call-In To His Radio Show
Me, Gary Bauer, Iraq, The Bible, His GOP Cheerleading And My Brief, VERY Brief Call-In To His Radio Show - Anti-Christian O’Reilly AWOL In REAL “Culture War;” Can’t Fight Secularists Because He IS One!
An article in “Focus On The Family’s” publication “CitizenLink” (10/3/06) tells us: “Bill O’Reilly wants to be your leader. The host of Fox News Channel’s popular program ‘The O’Reilly Factor,’ he wants to be the leader of the culture wars —and says so in his new book, “Culture Warrior,” published by Broadway Books. O’Reilly lays out the culture war, as he sees it —not the conventional liberal/conservative split, but a battle between traditionalism and secularism —and issues a clarion call to Americans to wake up and take a stand.”

- The “Boogie Man” lives!
In a message to subscribers of “Human Events” headlined: “Why the Democrats are morally and intellectually bankrupt and richly deserve to lose in 2006 and 2008,” they are told about a “startling new book” by David Limbaugh which “shows just how far the Democratic Party has fallen, and why there is little prospect of redemption.” - How Britain Is Turning Christianity Into A Crime How long will it be before Christianity becomes illegal in Britain? This is no longer the utterly absurd and offensive question that on first blush it would appear to be. An evangelical Christian campaigner, Stephen Green was arrested and charged last weekend with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
So what was this behaviour? Merely trying peacefully to hand out leaflets at a gay rally in Cardiff. So what was printed on those leaflets that was so threatening, abusive or insulting that it attracted the full force of the law? Why, none other than the majestic words of the 1611 King James Bible. - Protestant Reformers (Thank God!) Ignored Cal Thomas’ Advice; Preached, Changed Laws And Politics Only as the evangelical values that were elaborated in the new Protestant theologies found their way comfortably into city ordinances and territorial laws could the Reformation be deemed a success. Reform that existed only in pamphlets and sermons, and not also in law and institutions, would remain a private affair, confined to all intents and purposes within the minds of preachers and pamphleteers…..as long as their doctrine was not publicly enshrined in law, they knew that nothing they wanted could occur…
- Bush Former Top Speechwriter Gerson Has No Christian Worldview, Is Not Conservative, Joins CFR
Well, when he resigned recently, he joined the Council on Foreign Relations as a senior fellow. Says CFR President Richard N. Haass: “I am thrilled to welcome Mike to the Council. It is not just that he is one of the country’s great writers, which he most certainly is. It is also that he is one of this country’s most important thinkers — someone in a position to have a significant impact on the debate about this country’s purpose in the world.” - Exclusive Interview: “American Heritage Party’s” Dan Eby Discusses The Need For Explicitly Christian Party On a recent “The American View” radio show we interviewed Dan Eby, National Chairman of “The American Heritage Party.” Here is an edited version of what Brother Eby had to say. — J.L.
- Rush Limbaugh A Modern “Mr. Worldly Wiseman” And Bush/GOP Cheerleader On Murderous Iraq War
Years ago, I spotted Rush Limbaugh for what he is, among other things: A modern version of John Bunyan’s “Mr. Worldly Wiseman” who “dwelt in the town of Carnal Policy.” When “MWW” asks “Christian” how he came to realize his “burden” (his sin), “Christian” says: “By reading this book in my hand” (the Bible.) To which “MWW” replies: “I thought so; and it is happened unto thee as to other weak men, who, meddling with things too high for them, do suddenly fall into thy distractions; which distractions do not only unman men, as thine, I perceive, have done thee, but they run them upon desperate ventures to obtain they know not what.” So, “MWW’s” counsel is to forget the Bible, forget God’s Word which is, supposedly, for weak men, which is something beyond understanding that leads to being distracted. - Arkansas Disaffilates From National CP The Constitution Party of Arkansas’ Central Committee has unanimously approved the following resolution, as moved by Mark Moore and seconded by Buffy Zelnick, on August 25, 2006:
- Gingrich Interview Revealed He’s Statist Lightweight Who Defends Godless Public Schools, Is Soft On Homosexual Issue
Because it’s a pretty good bet that Newt Gingrich will run for President, I thought I’d share with you an interview I did with him in 1989. Here it is: Q. Congressman Gingrich, in this interview, rather than do the usual thing and ask where you stand on a laundry list of issues, I’d like to do sort of an intellectual biography of you, your ideas and their origin. For example, you speak often of the hierarchy of change and you talk about the importance of vision. What is the origin of your vision?… - “American View” On Faith/Freedom Network This Saturday At 1- 4 P.M. Eastern Time The programs you will hear this coming Saturday have already been on our Web page but are new for this Network. They are, in this order: (1) Our program reporting on President Bush’s advocacy of a Constitutional amendment to “protect” marriage against “activist” judges. We argue there is a better solution to this problem: Impeach “activist” judges! Ignore their Godless, unconstitutional rulings! (2) Our interview with “American Heritage Party” National Chairman Daniel Eby. (3) Interviews Clark Stevens, Co-Director of “The Campaign To Defend The Constitution,” a fraudulently-named group the real purpose of which (as you will hear) is to attack conservative Christians. Mr. Stevens, among other things, not only does not defend the Constitution, he wants to violate it by having your hard-earned Federal tax dollars and mine pay for medical “research” on human embryos. In fact, Mr. Stevens seems to have never even read the Constitution!
- In NAACP Speech Bush Brags About His Support For Numerous Un-Constitutional Programs
Finally, you and I seek an America that commits its wealth and expertise to helping those who suffer from terrible disease. We believe that every person in the world bears the image of our Maker, and is an individual of matchless value. And when we see the scourge of HIV/AIDS ravaging communities at home and abroad, we must not avert our eyes….We pledged $15 billion to provide medicine and help. We launched the emergency plan for AIDS relief. - “Nightline” Showcases Vile Female “Comic” Who Proves — With A Vengeance — Proverbs 11:22
Commenting on this Scripture, the great Puritan Bible scholar Matthew Henry says, in part, that “a woman without discretion is a woman of a loose and dissolute conversation….a foolish wanton woman, of a light carriage, is fitly compared to a swine, though she be ever so handsome, wallowing in the mire of filthy lusts, with which the mind and conscience are defiled, and, though washed, returning to them.” - A Poll: What Do You Think?
OK, here are some options being discussed in the wake of the Tampa meeting where a majority of those CP National Committee members voting refused to defend the CP’s 100 percent, no-exceptions, pro-life Platform. Which option or options do you favor and why? Or do you have other options? If so, what are they and why? Please let us know. You can let us know your view by posting a reply in our “Forum” or email me at JLof@aol.com. Thank you. – J.L. - Thank God I’m No Longer A “Conservative”!
But, I did — more or less — address these questions weeks ago in a questionnaire sent to me by a young lady from “Human Events,” the conservative Washington DC-based weekly. This interview, which was to run, has been spiked. It has not run. So, here are the questions I was asked and my answers. - Honey, I Shrunk The Tent!
In Tampa, we made our Biblical/Christian and other principled arguments as to why the CP National Committee should formally recognize the fact that the Nevada party had disaffiliated itself by being for various exceptions when it comes to murdering innocent, unborn babies by abortion. We lost the vote. The Party-Over-Principle-Can’t-We-All-Just-Get-Along-Because-We-Must-Have-A-Big-Tent-To-Win-People won the vote. But, it seems that, ironically, and unwittingly to be sure, the efforts of the POPCWAJGABWHABTTWP have made the CP’s vote-tent smaller, according to the following analysis by Daniel M. Hoyt of Oshkosh, Wisconsin - Missouri CP Disaffiliates From National CP This resolution of disaffiliation was adopted by unanimous vote of the State Committee of the Constitution Party of Missouri on June 24, 2006.
- Exclusive Interview: Tom Parker On God, The Law, Political Parties, The Need For Christians To Have Christian Worldview

For some time now I have wanted to tell you about James Stengel. And now I will since he has just been named Managing Editor of “Time” magazine. I interviewed Stengel when he was still the boss at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Here’s a slightly edited version of that interview: NEW - AUDIO of interview just added. - Exclusive Interview: Roy Moore On God, Law, His Race For Governor, The Future
RM: Absolutely not. It is very, very clear that the very first thing Congress did after the President’s speech on April 30th, 1789, in the inaugural address in what he calls “chapel” and to sit in that chapel in New York City, under the Ten Commandments, with the words Yahweh, written above them in Greek, and I think this is a clear recognition of who this God was. - Exclusive Interview: Rev. Joe Morecraft III On The Usefulness (Or Not) Of Political Parties To Rebuild Our Christian Country
And I think there’s another purpose for a political party, too, rather than running its own candidates, sort of like, you remember the old, [William] Buckley Conservative Party in New York, years ago? It was a restraint, for a while, on other political parties, and I think that if a Christian political party became strong enough – even though it couldn’t run a candidate, or elect a candidate in a certain area, it can began by being a clear restraint on candidates, who maybe wouldn’t run on their platform. - Hear It Now: My KBGN Interview, My Sermon

When “A. Square” realizes that there is a reality beyond “Flatland,” that “Lord Sphere” is (gasp!) three-dimensional, he says: “An unspeakable horror seized me. There was a darkness; then a dizzy, sickening sensation of sight that was not like seeing….; When I could find [my] voice, I shrieked aloud in agony, ‘Either this is madness or it is Hell.’” - July 4th Party Reveals, Sadly, There Is No “THE” American Way Which Is Why Superman Has Nothing To Fight For
Vanessa Williams sings a song I never heard of one lyric of which is “we alone can make it to the future.” The Muppet “Elmo” rides in on a tricycle. Vanessa and “Elmo” sing together. “Elmo” then sings to a bunch of kids gathered in front of him. His song extols the virtues of the imagination. He is joined on-stage by a saxophone-playing Muppet. Everybody sings “Happy Birthday” to America. - Bill Gates Funding Of Abortion Reveals Him To Be Liar When He Says “All Lives” Have “Equal Value”
The national news media would have us believe that Warren Buffet giving $31 billion to the Bill And Melinda Gates Foundation means the dawning of a new day — saving the lives of millions of people. On ABC’s “Nightline,” an ecstatic reporter, Dan Harris, has said about Buffet’s donation: “It was a grand, historic gesture. One that will put these three individuals in a position to change and, in many cases, save the lives of tens of millions of people.” - Warren Buffett “Agnostic,” Bill Gates Rejects Sermon On The Mount, Not “Huge Believer” In “Specific Elements” Of Christianity
In his interview with Charlie Rose on Public TV, Bill Gates has said he is “doubly blessed” to have worked at Microsoft and now at his Foundation. But, “doubly blessed” by whom? By what? What is the religion of Bill Gates? What is the religion of Warren Buffett? - Man-Bites-Dog! National Public Radio Reveals Warren Buffett Abortion/Infanticide Connection
The far-Left, “pro-choice,” National Public Radio, on its “Morning Edition” program (6/27/06), reported on the Buffett-Gates abortion connection. The following is a transcript of most of that broadcast: - First Indian Presbyterian Church In America In Kamiah, Idaho, Is Still Holding Services
KAMIAH, Idaho - One of the pleasant, indeed Providential, surprises I experienced when I was in this town at the Lewis-Clark resort was discovering the first Indian Presbyterian Church in America which was established on Christmas Day in 1871 - and is still holding services! - On The Road: In Idaho, Preaching, Teaching And Déjà Vu All Over Again At The State CP Convention On The Pro-Life Issue
GRANGEVILLE, Idaho — Well, it was, as Yogi Berra said, déjà vu all over again for me when I traveled recently to this beautiful state at the request of Scott Watson who with his wife Naomi and family showed me true Christian hospitality, as did others who received me. - TAMPA IV: Nathan Radcliffe Responds To Howard Phillips On Nevada Issue Howard Phillips has issued a statement attempting to justify his vote to uphold a pro-abortion Constitution Party state affiliate by arguing that the national party’s bylaws do not allow the National Committee to interfere in the internal affairs of a state party by disaffiliating them. This is a poor argument.
- TAMPA V: Dr. Patrick Johnston Of Ohio Responds To Howard Phillips I spoke with Doug Phillips today about the issues which we discussed in Michigan, and after speaking to both he and Howard Phillips about my charges in that Email, I have decided to humbly defer and retract that hastily written Email and write a more well-thought article in response to Howard Phillips, an article which is more educational and less offensive to elder brothers whose opinion I respect.
- TAMPA VI: The Blood Is On Our Hands The Constitution Party (CP) is guilty of that which we have previously accused the Republican Party. They have sacrificed that which is righteous upon the alter of party loyalty and it will be to their demise that they have chosen this path. Until now the CP was faithful to it’s platform and therefore found worthy of support by Christians.
- TAMPA VII: Last Words Of Paul deParrie Were In Defense Of Unborn He then stepped out for the room and moaned in pain from an apparent heart attack. CPR was attempted by some bystanders, and the paramedics arrived within minutes, but there was nothing more that could be done. The meeting was disbanded without the anticipated disaffiliation vote being taken. Paul deParrie was perhaps the most outspoken voice for the unborn in the State of Oregon. With his passing, a great mantle has fallen from heaven which no man has been found worthy to bear.
- TAMPA II: Constitution Party Refused To Uphold Its Own Constitution/Platform On Abortion
The issue before the body was not whether the Nevada Party was in compliance with the CP’s Platform on abortion. It was not. Therefore, I said, the question this body would be answering when it voted was: Do you care if the Nevada Party, on abortion, is out of compliance with the CP Platform and what will you do about this? The answer, as we all know, was, clearly, no we do notcare so we will do nothing. - President Tries Marriage Defense “Perfect Cheer” To Again Fool His Base
In any event, the Bush/GOP team is in trouble. The President is down in the polls — a lot more than two points. So, he’s tried the marriage-defense “perfect cheer” to re-energize his base, individuals and organizations that are supposedly Christian but in reality are Republican Party cheerleaders. Mr. Bush hopes that trying this “perfect cheer” will cause his demoralized cheerleaders to, once again, pick up their poms-poms and cheer wildly for him just like they did to elect him before he sold them out on the issues they care about. - Biblical Argument Against Homosexuality Abandoned So Tolerance Grows For This Abominable Perversion
The result of the kind of moral cowardice displayed by Reed and the President has been, not surprisingly, that public opposition to homosexual “marriage” has decreased. In 1996, according to the Pew Research Center, 65 percent of Americans were against homosexual “marriage;” in 2006, opposition had dropped to 51 percent. In 1973, according to National Opinion Research, 73 percent of Americans said same-sex relations are “always wrong;” in 2004, this figure had dropped to 58 percent. - Large Turnout At American Vision Conference Means, I Hope, More Christians Want Biblical Worldview
In his remarks concluding this meeting, Gary DeMar, President of American Vision, made some very important points. He said that eschatologies matter because “what you think about the future will determine how you act in the present.” And, he said, correctly, that Christians are the ones who gave away our once Christian nation because they bought in to the erroneous notion that religion is a private matter limited to home and church not all areas of life as the Bible mandates. - Latest Christian/Conservative Griping About Republican Sell-Out A Tale Full Of Sound, Fury, Signifying Nothing
Seriously, for decades Christian/conservatives have been helping to elect Republican Presidents and Congresses and then these same Christian/conservatives spend the post-election years griping and complaining because the Republicans have sold them out. Then despite these repeated sell-outs, these same Christian/conservatives once again cheerlead for Republicans to be elected! Thus, Republicans at the national level have no reason whatsoever to care about what Christian/conservatives think about anything. So, they don’t. - Critics Wrong! McCain Proves His Tolerance By Tolerating “Agent Of Intolerance” Jerry Falwell
Balderdash! Hogwash! Aardvarks and xylophones! - Good Riddance To Joe Curran, An Enemy Of The Second Amendment, Constitutional Right Of Self-Defense
Curran’s proposals, had they been enacted into law, would have had the effect of doing to the Second Amendment what the explosives did to that Federal building in Oklahoma. That is to say, Curran’s proposals would have, had they become law, demolished the Second Amendment. And — like in Oklahoma — lives would have been lost because millions of law-abiding Americans would have been denied the right to defend themselves with handguns. - Exclusive Interview: Jim Gilchrist On Abortion, Iraq War, God And Government, Sodomy, The Draft, “Theocracy”
A recent article on the “WorldNetDaily” Web site reported that “Minuteman Project” founder Jim Gilchrist might be interested in running for President as the Constitution Party’s nominee. This article quotes CP Chairman Jim Clymer as being excited about the possibility of such a Gilchrist candidacy. Gilchrist’s views on immigration are well-known. So, I interviewed him about some other important issues. - A Day Without Illegal Immigrants Would Save Taxpayers Lots Of $$$$$$$$$$$$!
The activist protestors are trying to confuse the American public by lumping legal immigrants with illegal aliens. A day without legal immigrants would be a day without almost all Americans. A day without illegal aliens, on the other hand, would be a boon to the American taxpayer. - Worldview Super Conference
On May 24th, 13 speakers and hundreds of people from all over the world will meet for an unparalleled conference in evangelical Christian history – American Vision’s first Worldview Super Conference. It’s unquestionably the most comprehensive training conference available today. Our theme is “Creation to Revelation… Connecting the Dots.” Our speakers will start with Genesis and end in Revelation. They’ll tell you what the Bible says about where we came from, what our purpose is, where we are going, and how to get there. Our specialist faculty will connect all of these important messages and demonstrate that the Bible is relevant and essential to all facets of our corporate and individual lives.

- 34 Women Killed, More Than 370 Wounded In Un-Biblical, Un-Constitutional, Unnecessary War Against Iraq
“There’s no way to spin it: Allowing women to get shot to death, or blown up, or mutilated and disfigured in war — particularly in a voluntary war — is horrible. It’s unnecessary. It’s barbaric. And it is virtually without historical precedent. Until now, societies have not done it. Even the most primitive cultures don’t send mothers off to battle. But suddenly, with almost no public debate, we do. - On The Road: I Speak To The Ohio CP State Convention; Attend CP Meeting In Tampa, Florida
The purpose of the Ohio C.P. – a solidly Christian Party — is, as they say: “To honor God and restore Constitutional government. We want to restore government to state and local control by shrinking the federal bureaucracy down to Constitutional size. We want to protect private property, privatize education, repeal all laws which infringe upon the right to keep and bear arms, cut state and federal spending drastically, restore state and national sovereignty, abolish the income tax, and safeguard American jobs by withdrawing from NAFTA and GATT!” - William Kristol Wonders (Seriously) What Harm Illegal Aliens Have Done When They Have Murdered Scores Of Americans
Sixty-four Border Patrol agents have been assaulted in the past three months along a 260-mile stretch of the Arizona-Mexico border — the country’s busiest illegal entry point — as the U.S. government continues its fight for “operational control” of the region. As law-enforcement efforts have increased, so have the incidents of violence and the intensity of the attacks on the agents in the stretch known as the Tucson sector — which are averaging one assault every two days and are on pace to increase this year by 80 percent. - For Umpteenth Time Christian “Leaders” Hold Gripe Session Complaining That Republicans Ignore Their Issues
For at least a quarter-of-a-century one foolish thing many so-called Christian/conservative “leaders” and their organizations have been doing is working enthusiastically for the election of a Republican President and Congress. Then, when Republicans are elected, they gripe about how the GOP is ignoring their issues. - Terri Schiavo To, Again, Be Murdered At Upcoming U. Of Pennsylvania Symposium
Again, the purpose of the symposium is to take us to the next level of discussion about the socially-relevant issues related to end-of-life care in America today. To that end, the symposium is designed specifically as a forum to permit the expression of voices that have heretofore been relatively silent on these critically-important issues. Dr. Caplan’s opinions on the Terri Schiavo case have been well-reported in all major media outlets. - Far-Left Katie Couric Move To CBS, “60 Minutes” Bad News For Christians And Conservatives
Couric is hostile to anything remotely resembling Christianity. An example of this particular animus is a recent appearance on the “Today” show of Thomas Monaghan and Paul Marinelli. Monaghan is a Roman Catholic who is the founder of Domino’s Pizza. Marinelli is president and CEO of Barron Collier Companies, the developers of Ave Maria University in Florida. - Judicial Tyranny Unlikely To Be Stopped As Long As Myth That Courts Make Law Is Believed
Michael Anthony Peroutka’s “Courts Do Not Make Law” is, arguably, the most important article that has run on our Web page. If Christian/conservatives do not understand, believe and act on what he has written, there is very little hope that judicial tyranny in American can be stopped. Just how prevalent the myth that courts make law is was brought home to me in a recent interview I did with Rep. Roger Hunt, a conservative, Republican South Dakota State Legislator who strongly supports that State’s recently enacted ban on abortion. Here’s the way our conversation went: - Exclusive Interview: Terri Schiavo’s Brother Replies To Michael Schiavo’s Lies Which Continue To Murder Terri
Attempted for many years, the murder of Terri Schiavo actually occurred on March 31, 2005, when she died - starved to death — following a court-ordered cut-off of her food and water which she was getting through a feeding tube. On NBC’s “Dateline” program recently, Terri’s ex-husband, Michael Schiavo, one of the murderers, was interviewed by NBC “Today” show co-host, Matt Lauer who did a good job pressing him on some important points. To respond to some of what Michael Schiavo said in this NBC interview, I interviewed Terri’s brother Bobby Schindler. I first played the audio of some of what Michael Schiavo said; then Bobby replied. Here’s our interview. - In New Book By Gingrich He Says God Rules But Does He Really Believe This?
A: And therefore I think you come down to a core question of faith. Q: Yes. A: But, there’s also no requirement that that then leads directly to public policy you just described. Q: Well, my thinking was something like that if people are homosexuals, that tells us something about their character and we care about the character — A: I don’t agree with that. Q: Oh, I see. Why do you think God calls it an abomination if it says nothing about their character? A: I think there are many good and kind and decent people who may also be homosexuals. Q: Really? A: Yes. Q: My goodness. - A Truly Christian College Would Teach Biblical Defense Of The Faith Not “Debate” As A Game
And what is one to make of O’Donnell’s statement that it would be “very hard” for him to work for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani? It would be just “very hard” for him to do this? That’s all? Just “very hard?” Why not impossible since Giuliani is not just “pro-choice” – which is bad enough. He is also for the legalization of partial-birth abortion, which is infanticide. He is for homosexual “rights.” And his wife divorced him because he committed adultery. - Missouri Rep. Sater Correct: America Founded By Christians As Christian Nation — And A Supreme Court Justice Once Agreed
It’s truly astounding how simply telling the truth, and saying our country was founded by Bible-believing Christians, can be so “controversial” even among some who say they are Christians. And the realization that our country was indeed founded as a Christian nation must begin with the understanding that our founding began 150 or so years before the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution. This is well-documented in writing by a former Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, David J. Brewer, titled “the United States As A Christian Nation” (John C. Winston Co.,, 1905). As Brewer notes: - A Cautionary Tale For Kristi Yamaoka And Jay Sekulow: Cheerleading Can Be Hazardous To Your Health
Why did she keep on cheering when she was being carried out on a stretcher? She says: “Oh, well, for the most part it just—as soon as I heard the fight song playing, and as a cheerleader every time we hear that fight song playing we’re supposed to be dancing and cheering, and trying to get the crowd going, so I’m still a cheerleader, on a stretcher or not, so as soon as I heard that fight song I knew my job and I just started doing my thing.” - Head Of South Dakota Planned Parenthood Abortion Death Chamber Clueless Re: True View Of American Government
The South Dakota Legislature – God bless them – has passed a law banning almost all abortions. And Kate Looby, head of the only Planned Parenthood abortion death chamber in that state, is, of course, outraged. I saw her on ABC’s “World News Tonight” (2/24/06) saying: “I’m always shocked that the South Dakota legislature is willing to defy the United States Supreme Court and to defy the United States Constitution.” - Attn: Judge Murdock: Your Church Says “All Catholics Are Obliged To Oppose The Legal Recognition Of Homosexual Unions”
Sometimes I wonder if anybody’s religion means anything to them. I’m thinking specifically about Maryland Judge M. Brooke Murdock — a Roman Catholic — who has ruled in favor of homosexual “marriage.” Bush Supreme Court nominees John Roberts and Samuel Alito — both Roman Catholics — also repudiated their faith by saying it would have nothing to do with their judging. - Michael Moore Attacks Me As Liar But, Not Surprisingly, It Is Moore Who, Once Again, Is Not Being Honest
I saw another one of these lunatics, this time on MSNBC. A guy named John Lofton. He went on and on about how my movie is all made up. The anchor on MSNBC never challenged him on his lies and never told the viewers who he really was – a right wing crazy who believes Bush is too liberal. He was once an advisor to Pat Buchanan’s Presidential campaign, and was a direct-mail writer for Jesse Helms. - Pro-Homosexual, Anti-Christian Judge Should Be Impeached Because She Ignores God And Mocks His Law
Murdock: “This Court holds that Maryland’s statutory prohibition against same-sex marriage cannot withstand this constitutional challenge…because it discriminates, based on gender against a suspect class; and is not narrowly tailored to serve any compelling governmental interests.” - The Hon. Robert Duckworth True Profile In Christian Courage Who Takes His Oath Seriously, Opposes Homosexual “Marriage”
I’m on the horns of a dilemma. The people are on the horns of a dilemma too because the have to wait until 2008 because the General Assembly lacked the spine to put it on the ballot this year and deal with it now. And rather than hibernate — leadership means just what it says: you have to lead especially on profound issues like this and if you don’t you must step down and if you don’t step down you get voted out. - Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore Calls On President Bush To Defend Religious Freedom of Military Chaplains
I call upon you, as our President and Commander-in-Chief, to exercise that constitutional authority given you over our military forces to stop this unwarranted and unlawful attack on military chaplains. As we lead the world in our quest for freedom and liberty, we can ill afford to deny that freedom to valiant military chaplains dedicated to the service of our Country and the God upon Whom that Country was founded. - Bush Says No To Women In Land Combat; Yes To Women Flying Fighters, Choppers
The Pentagon will miss Congress’ March 31 deadline for certifying that the Army’s reorganization of war-fighting brigades is abiding by its rule that women not serve in direct land combat or in support units that embed in those units, according to an internal memo. - Feminist Movement Betty Friedan Led Has Its Roots In The Occult, Necromancy, Demonic Spiritualism
The “womens’ rights”/feminist/”pro-choice” movement began, of course, in disobedience to God in the Garden of Eden. But in her revealing book “Radical Spirits: Spiritualism And Women’s Rights In Nineteenth-Century America”(Beacon Press, 1989), Ann Brauden, an assistant professor of religion at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, documents the connection between this movement, in modern times, and the occult. - State-Of-Union Talk Shows State-Of-Bush Is That He Has No Idea True View Of American Law, Government
Before President Bush’s State of the Union talk, the Republican National Committee suggested holding parties to hear this talk. But if you care about Biblical, Constitutional government, this address was nothing to celebrate. In fact, Mr. Bush’s State of the Union address revealed much more about his own state of mind and thinking rather than anything objectively true about our country. He said: “The only way to protect our people, the only way to secure the peace, the only way to control our destiny is by our leadership — so the United States of America will continue to lead.” - Bush v. Bush
Q: Do you really think we can win this war on terror?…. - Sponsor Of Dobson-Backed Bill Admits It’s A “Compromise” That “Helps,” Among Others, Homosexuals Get Special Benefits
Colorado State Senator Shawn Mitchell is the sponsor of SB 166 the bill Dr. Dobson has endorsed which gives special benefits to, among others, homosexuals living together. In the following interview, Mitchell tries hard to deny that his bill does what it does. And he tries hard not to say anything that would contradict what Dobson has said about this bill. Be that as it may, here’s the interview. You decide if he successfully obfuscated the issue. I don’t think he did. But, you tell us, please, what you think in our “Forum.” - Dr. Dobson — Regardless Of What He Thinks He Has Done — Has Endorsed Special Benefits For Homosexuals Living Together
But, before I get to what it was that made Dr. Dobson so angry, I want to say that there is no doubt in my mind that he sincerely believes that he did not do what he did. But, he did do what he thinks he did not do. - Current Lobbyist Scandal In Washington Bitter Fruit Of Un-Biblical, Un-Constitutional Federal Government
Well, surprise! Surprise! There’s a huge lobbying/bribery scandal in Washington DC involving super-lobbyist Jack Abramoff who, in our Nation’s capital, is now the focus of all evil in the universe. But, who could have predicted this? Who could have possibly predicted that if, over decades, you put out a gigantic trough full of trillions of dollars (the Federal budget) and all kinds of un-Biblical, un-Constitutional programs, that some of the thousands of pig-lobbyists would try to get some of this dough and power by any means necessary? - The Dumbest Questions Asked Of Alito? Leahy? Kohl? Biden?
Finally, and by finally I do not mean this is an exhaustive and comprehensive list of Dumb Questions asked, there is the insufferable and egregious Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.). During one day of questioning, around the Noon hour, Biden prefaced his remarks by saying to Alito: “I understand, Judge, I am the only one standing between you and lunch. So I’ll try to make this painless.” - Teddy Kennedy Last Man On Earth Qualified To Question Ethics, Integrity Of Judicial Nominees
There may be a more disgusting, nauseating spectacle than Teddy Kennedy sitting in judgment on a Supreme Court nominee’s ethics and integrity, but I’m not sure what this might be. But, there he was on national TV, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, asking his questions and making his points with all the skills of Ace Ventura, Pet Detective. Kennedy among other things: - Dumb Dogs, GOP Cheerleaders And Godless Judges: “Christian” Groups Lie Down, Slumber, Ignore Alito’s Pro-Abortion Record
To their everlasting shame, supposedly Christian/conservative leaders, pro-life Senators, commentators and publications have failed miserably to tell the truth about Judge Samuel Alito’s pro-abortion voting record as a judge and what he said in his Senate confirmation testimony. - The Nomination of Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court: Jerry Falwell Didn’t Do His Homework
Talk-show host John Lofton, who calls himself a “Recovering Republican,” came prepared for today’s conference call about this weekend’s “Justice Sunday III” event that will promote Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito. - Deep, Deep, Deep Denial: ‘San Diego Tribune’ Cartoonist Sees Alito As Pro-Life — Because Bush Named Him!
JL: Even allowing for artistic license and editorial cartoon exaggeration and caricature, your cartoon is ridiculous. Alito is not pro-life. He has voted pro-abortion several times as a lower court judge; he voted to uphold partial birth abortion, and a couple of other times he ruled to uphold Roe v. Wade. Where in the world did you get the idea he was pro-life? - ‘Ginsburg Precedent’ Argument Proved That Senate GOP Truly Brain-Dead Re: Importance Of Supreme Court Nominees
A recent example of what I’m talking about occurred on the “Fox News Sunday” TV show. Two of the guests were California Democrat Diane Feinstein and South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham. Unlike the supposedly conservative, pro-life Graham, Feinstein stood firm and defended her pro-death, pro-abortion view. - John Lofton’s Bookshelf Sale

Email me - John Lofton on C-SPAN: A Transcript
The following is a slightly edited transcript of a discussion that too place on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal,” December 24, 2005. - “The War on Christmas”: Secularist O’Reilly Poses As Defender Of The Faith But He Is Not
So, to be certain we win the “war on Christmas” next year far earlier, here’s what I’m demanding for next year. - His Sowship
He came to the English throne with great ease….He took a month to come from Edinburgh to London; and, by way of exercising his new power, hanged a pickpocket on the journey without any trial, and knighted everybody he could lay hold of. He made two hundred knights before he got to his palace in London, and seven hundred before he had been in it three months. He also shoveled sixty-two new peers into the House of Lords—and there was a pretty large sprinkling of Scotchmen among them, you may believe. - New Orleans Mayor Finally Gets One Right (God Is Angry With America) – Then He Apologizes And Takes It Back!
Poor Ray Nagin, Mayor of New Orleans. He finally gets one right – then he takes it back! In a recent press conference, he said: “Surely God is mad at America. He’s sending hurricane after hurricane after hurricane. And it’s destroying and putting stress on this country.” But, almost immediately, he apologized saying he was wrong to have said this.
