Michael Anthony Peroutka is a graduate of Loyola College in Maryland and the University of Baltimore School of Law. He has three children and lives and works in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Inspired by his parents, Anthony and Elizabeth Peroutka, Michael was called to public service at an early age, providing leadership in support of the right to life, the right to keep and bear arms, and other Constitutional causes. Michael resigned from a position with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services when he recognized that none of the programs on which he was working were constitutionally permissible.

In 2004, Michael was the Constitution Party’s candidate for President of the united States of America. He ran on a platform that sought to Honor God, Protect the Family, Restore the Republic. His platform has come to be known as “The American View of Law and Government” which was shortened to the American View when it became a weekly radio show.

As co-founder of The Institute on the Constitution, a nation-wide program teaching the principles incorporated in the Declaration of Independence and the U. S. Constitution, Michael continues to “plow his row” by teaching and lecturing in Maryland and across the country. He often begins his lectures with “There is a God and our rights come from Him”, reflecting the worldview of America’s Founding Fathers which is necessary to understand our founding documents and the rights afforded to every American by those documents. He is also a pro-life champion, recognized by the Maryland legislature for his generosity and work on pro-life issues.
