17th “American View” Program Continues Analysis Of Bush Nominee John Roberts

Our 17th nationally-syndicated, one-hour radio show, “The American View,” co-hosted by Michael Anthony Peroutka and “recovering Republican” John Lofton, will be broadcast this Sunday in 37 cities in 22 states. It is another detailed look — with new material — at the views of President Bush’s nominee to the Supreme Court John Roberts.

On this program, you will, again, hear Roberts say, in a 2003 confirmation hearing: “Roe v. Wade is the settled law of the land. It is not—it’s a little more than settled. It was reaffirmed in the face of a challenge that it should be overruled in the Casey decision. Accordingly, it’s the settled law of the land. There’s nothing in my personal views that would prevent me from fully and faithfully applying that precedent, as well as Casey.”

This is a very significant statement because it reveals: (1) That Roberts, obviously, does not know that Roe v. Wade and all the various pro-abortion court decisions which supposedly “legalized” the murder of innocent, unborn children are NOT law because they are all man-made rulings which contradict God’s Law forbidding murder. Thus, because these rulings contradict God’s Law, these rulings are NOT law! (2) That Roberts doesn’t seem to understand that the Supreme Court does not make “law.” Only Congress legislates. (3) That Roberts is saying he has no personal view that in any way sees abortion — the murder of innocent, unborn children — as being wrong. And this is why he will uphold all the Supreme Court decisions making abortion “legal.”

On this same program, we report how a White House press aide called MSNBC talk show host Joe Scarborough to make it clear that Roberts does NOT want to overturn Roe v. Wade. We also refute several specific pro-Roberts statements made by various Christian “leaders” and organizations. And, finally, we discuss at some length, and praise, a recently Godly/Biblical ruling by Alabama Supreme Court Justice Tom Parker.

Also, please, if you would like to help us keep our program on the air — which is presently on stations in 37 cities in 22 states — send us a donation of $25, $50, $100 or more. Make your check or money order out to: “The American View” and send it to:

And do, please, continue to pray for the success of our program that it might glorify God. Because, as He says in Psalm 127:1: “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
