Former Chief Justice Roy S. Moore - June 3, 2011 First Friday
On June 3, 2011, the “Institute on the Constitution” will host the Honorable Roy S. Moore, former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court who is now President of the Foundation for Moral Law in Montgomery, Alabama. Many know the Chief Justice as the “Ten Commandments” Judge when he fought against the removal of the Ten Commandment’s monument from the Alabama Supreme Court building. The bigger issue in that case was whether the State can acknowledge God. You won’t want to miss this First Friday.
This event will be held at Heritage Community Church (8146 Quarterfield Rd. Severn, MD 21144). Doors open at 6:30 PM and the presentation starts at 7:00 PM. There is no charge for this event, but because seating is limited you must RSVP by registering below or by calling 866-730-9796.
