That’s right! There is an American View! What does that mean? It is more of a comprehensive world-view, but for the purposes of this article, it begins with the spirit of the U.S. Constitution - the Declaration of Independence. And broken down into it’s simplest form - we are endowed by our Creator {meaning there is a God} with certain rights {our rights come from Him} - and the sole purpose of government is to protect and defend these God-given rights. There’s more to it than that, but what a place to begin.

So how does this play out in real life? What happens to politics if we reach back to what the original intent of our Constitution was?
