• Sorry, But Joe Biden As Watchdog Over Trillions Of Federal Tax Dollars Seems Somehow Inadequate
• IF THE TRUTH HAD BEEN TOLD…
• The Protestant Indulgence I have been teaching Church History for 20 years. One of the highlights of my year is showing the great Martin Luther film from the 1950s starring Niall MacGinnis. It might be in black and white but I still think it is the best of the Luther films that I have seen. In that film, Luther finds one of his parishioners publicly drunk in the middle of the day. When Luther chastises him, the man produces an indulgence that he bought from Tetzel, the monk who largely raised the funds for St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.

But this - oh, well, I inherited these deficits. And we’re not going to be a nation of torturers, you know, after he talked about Gitmo . He suddenly went to nation of torturers.”
• GOP Opposed Big Spending When FDR Budget Was $9 Billion; And Why We Need To Shut Up About Race On this program, you’ll hear several sound bites from a 1940 Republican National Committee film made to help the Presidential candidacy of Wendell Willkie against FDR - a time when the Federal Budget was about $9 billion and gas was 14 cents a gallon, 5 cents of which was tax. And John will analyze a recent speech about race by Attorney General Eric Holder, at the Justice Department, marking Black History Month - a racist event, and a stupid one, because nobody ever achieved anything because of his race.
• Oh, Yeah — The Constitution — Of Course… I had an interesting, but somewhat depressing, conversation recently with a nice young man at a major conservative Washington DC “think tank” who had written a paper giving 10 reasons why President Obama’s “stimulus” boondoggle should not include any Federal spending on education. All 10 reasons were very good ones. But, BUT, missing from the list was the fact that any Federal spending on education is un-Constitutional. Here’s our exchange:

At the recent signing ceremony in Denver, Colorado, for his “stimulus” boondoggle, President Obama admitted his scam won’t solve all our economic problems instantly. • Unbelievable! “New York Times” Obit Ignores “Them” — Yes, “Them,” One Of The Greatest Movies Ever About Giant Insects The “NY Times” obituary re: the death of actor James Whitmore (2/7/09) mentions, of course, as it should have, his one-man shows as Harry Truman, Will Rogers, TR. Also mentioned some TV shows he was in: “Playhouse 90,” “Studio One,” “The Twilight Zone,”“Gunsmoke.” Some of his movies are mentioned: “Asphalt Jungle,” “Kiss Me Kate”“Tora!Tora!Tora!,”“The Shawshank Redemption.”

• Rohrbough Rejects All Laws As Evil And Wicked Which Allow “And Then You Can Kill The Baby” In his “Institute On The Constitution” January “First Friday” address, Brian Rohrbough, President of the Colorado-based “American Right To Life,” told an attentive packed house about the important differences between those who see the pro-life cause as a business and those who see the pro-life cause as a Godly calling. Emphatically rejecting the regulation of murder-by-abortion, he characterized as evil and wicked any law which says, in effect, after being complied with - “and then you can kill the baby” - a phrase first used by Bob Enyart, pastor of the Denver Bible Church.
• Walk-By-Sight False Prophet Pat Robertson Sees, Again, Russia Attacking Israel, As He Previously Predicted - Falsely Like Energizer Bunnies From Hell, the False Prophets (FPs) who walk by sight and not by faith, when things flare up in the Middle East, begin to babble, again, about “The End Times,” Ezekiel 38, and the coming attack by Russia on Israel. So, it was no surprise to see on Pat Robertson’s “700 Club” recently FPs Robertson and Benny Hinn discussing, one more time, The End Times, Ezekiel 38 and the supposed coming attack on Israel by Russia.
• Christ’s Kingdom Here NOW, And Growing, As He Reigns And Rules NOW Until All Enemies Put Beneath His Blessed Feet In the 1971 book by Dr. John Wesley White titled “Re-Entry: Striking Parallels Between Today’s News Events And Christ’s Second Coming” (Worldwide Publications), White says: “From time immemorial, man has longed for a combination on this earth of law and order; peace and prosperity; freedom and fulfillment; health and happiness; godliness and longevity of life. It will happen when Christ comes again to this earth to set up His Kingdom.”
• Schaeffer Wrong About God Authorizing Fathers To Execute Stubborn And Rebellious Sons The consequences of failing to obey God — warned about and reiterated, repeatedly and patiently by God, in Scripture — are horrible. And I believe, because we are coming under God’s wrath, that things will get a lot worse in this country before (if?), by His grace, they get better. Take, for example, the so-called “Super Predators.” According to a report on the “CBS Evening News” (4/9/96), the “SPs” are part of a “tidal wave of juvenile crime right over the horizon” that will make today look like the good old days. Because of a huge increase coming in 14-to-17-year-old boys, “the mother of all crime waves” is approaching and these young barbarians will be “more dangerous and more violent than anything we’ve ever seen in this country.”
